In taking a Private Transfer with A Safe Passage you have selected the most direct, relaxing and the environmental friendlier way to get from the airport to your Costa Rica destination. We will meet upon your arrival and are on the road in a matter of minutes. And in our understanding that 'you may only pass this way once' our number on goal is to help you get the most out of your local travel experience.

With us the trip is about you!  We also carry a cooler filled with water, tropical juices and sodas so you ride refreshed.  And for your travel enjoyment we have a CD/Mp3 player with a DLO attachment on board allowing us to play your favorite CD' or music from your iPod and rock while we roll or you can listen to our array of popular Latino music and Salsa in your seat.

While on the road we will try to answer the questions you might have or refer you to somewhere of someone who might help. We share information about the local history, culture and people. And when possible, we will take you by a local fruritstand where you can sample some of the in season fruits. And then, if you are interested, we can take to an authentic Tico restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious Costa Rican meal and a cold one with the locals!

While it would be our pleasure to drive you to your destination and back again, we are based in the San Jose area of Costa Rica and it is not always to your advantage to have us take you on short jaunts or, in some cases, point to point. If it is to your advantage we can arrange for the Interbus or another company to get you point to point within the country. In sending us your full itinerary we can advise.

We do not rush you point to point we take it slow; pointing out and stopping at points of interest on the way. During coffee season we stop at a coffee field where you can see the plant in bloom. When we head west we will stop at a pull out where on a clear day you can see all the way to the coast. And if our trip takes us north we can take you to a butterfly garden when you can see Morpho butterflies and a live toucan.
