 Our
HomeBase packages are designed to help make your Costa Rica
arrival and departure an easy, enjoyable and positive
experience. In opting for a HomeBase we will pick you up at the
airport when you arrive, take you to your hostel, hotel or
Bed and Breakfast and the following day get
you on your bus, shuttle or start your Private Transfer.
After your arrival, and time permitting, you will be
taken on a short Walk-About tour to help acclimate you with the
surroundings and given some insight into the country.
On our Walk-About
we can take you by the bank (where you will get the best exchange
rate) by the market and point out a selection of local bars and
restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a cold one with
neighborhood Ticos.
You stay at the same hotel the night before you
are due to depart Costa Rica, then we pick you up on the day of your departure and
take to the airport in time to check in for your flight.
 Tica Charm
The name says it all! When choosing our Tica Charm you stay in
a classic Bed and Breakfast nicely adorned with local antiques and
staffed with responsible, personable and knowledgeable personal. After
a good nights' rest you enjoy a typical Tica breakfast that includes
fresh tropical fruit, delicious juice, gallo pinto, and of course
Costa Rican coffee. We then take you to your Interbus shuttle
or start out on our Private Transfer.
On your return you will stay at the same B&B and we can
arrange for you to be taken to El Mirador where you can enjoy
your last meal in Costa Rica and a scenic view of the central
valley. And we will take you to the airport on the day you are
due to depart.

The Basics
With 'The Basics' you enjoy lodging at a safe, clean and
friendly family operated hotel located in downtown Alajuela. You
will be conveniently located near restaurants, banks, markets and
neighborhood bars. Your stay includes a private bath, free internet
access and a tropical
breakfast before starting out of your journey.
Your bus tickets are included in this option and we will take you to a
local bus stop where you will board your bus. Your last night is spent
at the same hotel and you are driven to the airport on the day you are
due to leave.
