At A Safe Passage our goal with our HomeBase packages is to make your Costa Rica arrival and departure an easy and hassle-free travel experience.

With a HomeBase we pick you up at the airport, take you to where you will be lodging for the night then, time permitting, you will be taken on a short Walk-About to help acclimate you to the country and the local way of life. We will answer all the questions we can and point out local places of interest. Then the following day we will take you to your bus or shuttle for the start your tropical adventure.

You stay in the same hostel, hotel or bed and breakfast the night before departing the country, we can give you a recommendation on where to enjoy that last Tico dinner. Then the day of your departure we will have a cab waiting to take you to the airport.

If you are looking for a place to 'Just Flop' this option is for you. You stay in a hostel conveniently located in the center of town and a safe walking distance from internet cafes, ATM's and inexpensive restaurants.

The name says it all. Here you stay in a classic Tico bed and breakfast that is nicely adorned with local antiques and a lot of Tica charm.

Our 'Journey International' is the easiest way to bus across the border. When selecting Journey International, we pick you up at the airport, provide lodging for the night then get you on your bus the next morning. We purchase tickets in advance so seats are guaranteed.
