Our HomeBase packages are designed to help make your Costa Rica arrival and departure an easy, enjoyable and positive travel experience. You are picked up upon arrival, taken to your local hostel, hotel or bed and breakfast then the following day, we will take you to your bus, Interbus shuttle or pick you up to begin your Private Transfer.

The night before your Costa Rica departure you stay at the same facility and we will pick you up the next day and take you to the airport in time to check in for your flight. We believe you will find that booking a HomeBase will take a lot of stress out of the start and end of your Costa Rica vacation.

Tica Charm

The name says it all! When choosing our Tica Charm you stay in a classic Bed and Breakfast that is nicely adorned with local antiques and staffed with responsible, personable and knowledgeable personal. After a good nights' rest you enjoy a typical Tica breakfast that includes fresh tropical fruit, delicious tropical fruit juice, gallo pinto, and of course Costa Rican coffee. We then take you to your Interbus shuttle or start out on our Private Transfer.

On your return you will stay at the same B&B and we can arrange for you to be taken to El Mirador where you can enjoy your last meal in Costa Rica and a scenic view of the central valley.  We take you to the airport on the day you are due to depart.  $199 sgl. / $239 dbl.

The Basics

With 'The Basics' you enjoy lodging at a safe, clean and friendly family ran hotel located in downtown Alajuela near restaurants, banks, markets and neighborhood bars. You will have a private bath, free internet access and served a tasty continental breakfast before you depart. Your bus tickets are included and we will take you to a local bus stop where you will board your bus. Your last night is spent at the same hotel and we drive you to the airport on the day you are due to leave. $129 sgl. / $159 dbl.

Just Flop

If you are looking for a place to 'Just Flop' this option is for you. You stay in a hostel located near the center of town and a safe walking distance to internet cafes, ATM's and inexpensive restaurants. When you 'Just Flop' we purchase your bus tickets in advance and are with you until you board your bus. Then you return to the same hostel and we will provide you transportation to the airport. $99 sgl. / $139 dbl.

Time permitting, you will be taken on a short Walk-About to help acclimate you to your surroundings and the country.On our Walk-About we take you to the bank, market, and point out a variety of local bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a cold one or delicious meal. We believe that you will find starting and ending your Costa Rica adventure does not get much easier.

A Safe Passage

We pick you up when you arrive, provided you with lodging for the night then the next day we get you where you are going.
