Traveling to Costa Rica
on a One Way
Ticket |
At the
Spirit ticket counter the clerk said we would need
to buy 'return tickets' to Florida and if we did
not, we could not fly to Costa Rica that day... We
paid $526 for one-way tickets to Florida that we do
not need...
It
is very shortsighted because flying is not the only
way to leave Costa Rica -
Don R. - The Tico Times (08/13/2010)
Costa Rica requires tourists traveling
on a one way ticket have verifiable
proof of onward travel before entering the
country. Currently airlines are denying passengers from
boarding their flights and custom agents are refusing
entrance into the country for travelers not meeting
Costa Rica's entry
requirements.
You can order an onward bus ticket through
A Safe Passage online
and have all the
documented and verifiable proof you need to board your flight
and enter the county. We
purchase tickets to all the international destinations
Tica
Bus, TransNica, Nica Expreso
and Tracopa
serve.
Don't Get
Denied!
Proof of return or onward
travel is also needed at the time of check in.
Failure to provide such
documentation will result in denied
boarding.
